Aquamarine Feature

Heather chose to feature my aquamarine necklace as her number 3 etsy pick for aquamarine items. Here is the picture of my necklace.

My son did a book report on Neil Armstrong. Part of the assignment was to wear a costume to school and talk about the book. My husband and I went to many stores but couldn't find a costume since it is not even close to Halloween time. So we got creative. I'm going to give my husband most of the credit for this one. We found supplies at Walmart. The helmet we borrowed from a friend.He felt so cool walking in to school. He got a 100. The best part is that he loves to read, and that his teacher makes it fun.
We used scrapbooking paper to add gold to the helmet. The boots belong to my husband. We added aluminum foil. The circles on the suit are covered in colored tape.

Snow is Coming!

A giant snowstorm is heading our way. It is the same weekend as the big bead show that comes around 4 times a year. I'm determined to get beads(I have custom orders for things that I can only make from the beads I get at this show). So, I've changed my plans. I'm going to go to the show tonight instead of tomorrow. I don't want to chance being snowed in. My area doesn't handle snow very well at all. I MUST have my beads!!!!! Once I have those, Let it Snow :) I'll have plenty of new beads to keep me busy.

A Rainbow Treasury

Front Page!!!

I am so excited because I made a treasury of items I like that are for sale on etsy. It was chosen to be on the front page of etsy today!! It was so much fun. At least 3 people got sales almost immediately because of it. I did manage to get a screen shot. Beautiful items, everyone! You will notice the top picture is slightly different than the bottom one. That is because things were selling quickly and so little changes were being made by the etsy staff to replace the sold items. I am sorry the bottom is cut off on the 2nd picture.

Beads!

I am so excited! I went to my first wholesale show. Here are beads I bought. This is going to be a fun week of creating. I love them!!!!! Aren't they pretty? Nothing like new beads for inspiration. I got incredible prices too.
