Snow is Coming!

A giant snowstorm is heading our way. It is the same weekend as the big bead show that comes around 4 times a year. I'm determined to get beads(I have custom orders for things that I can only make from the beads I get at this show). So, I've changed my plans. I'm going to go to the show tonight instead of tomorrow. I don't want to chance being snowed in. My area doesn't handle snow very well at all. I MUST have my beads!!!!! Once I have those, Let it Snow :) I'll have plenty of new beads to keep me busy.

A Rainbow Treasury

I am so excited because I got invited a couple days ago to be on an etsy team. We basically help promote each other. My team is called Crafting in Color. I decided that I would make a treasury for my team this evening, so here it is! Click on it for a bigger view.

I have recently launched my new bookmarks at my etsy shop Hidden Treasure. They are pretty shepherd hook style bookmarks. Perfect as a gift or for yourself. Front Page!!!

I am so excited because I made a treasury of items I like that are for sale on etsy. It was chosen to be on the front page of etsy today!! It was so much fun. At least 3 people got sales almost immediately because of it. I did manage to get a screen shot. Beautiful items, everyone! You will notice the top picture is slightly different than the bottom one. That is because things were selling quickly and so little changes were being made by the etsy staff to replace the sold items. I am sorry the bottom is cut off on the 2nd picture.

Beads!

I am so excited! I went to my first wholesale show. Here are beads I bought. This is going to be a fun week of creating. I love them!!!!! Aren't they pretty? Nothing like new beads for inspiration. I got incredible prices too.

Springing for a New Look

I have decided to redo all the pictures in my shop and go with white backgrounds. I want a fresh, crisp look for spring. Here are a few pics of the first one I've redone:


This pretty flower shell pendant is perfect for spring. Millefiori beads add a pretty touch! How do you like my new look? I plan on changing the banner too. This may take some time; I have 74 items in my shop right now and new items I haven't even listed yet!

International Gem and Jewelry Show

Thanks to a friend, I got to go to this show at the Expo Center for free. It was so fun to go into the wholesale section and buy strands of beads! So many great deals, and I am feeling inspired to create! I'm hoping to go back tomorrow :)
